This blog comes from the collective knowledge and experience of a few professionals with an insatiable love for macroeconomics and global financial markets. We created and developed this blog as a means to provide an informative online interactive forum for fellow enthusiasts, industry participants, students/professors, researchers and anyone else possessing a targeted interest in the subject matter wishing to contribute to or attain greater insights into the various macro aspects of our focal points.
As a visitor here to our blog, you are embarking on joining a dynamic, engaging and educational community. Our subject matter is vastly complex, and with respect to the inherent complexity, the offering and contributions of many differing ideas, theories and research is essential to propagating and maintaining the macro-diverse viewpoint that we hold closely as a part of the fabric of our community. We will post frequently and we highly encourage discourse. Some topics will inevitably be provocative in nature and or thought and we welcome such comments and topics. However, this blog is a courteous and intelligent space and caustic negativity will simply not be tolerated under ANY circumstances. We here at Modern and Macro perpetually reserve the right to be the sole determining body with discretion over what we deem to be detracting, offensive or negative rhetoric. It is our goal to have a vibrant and active online community and with that we will always make every best effort to respond directly to questions!
